Roderick
Walls is co-founder and a Partner of the firm.
Mr.
Walls is a graduate of the University of Alabama (B.S., Psychology/Biology,
1980). He pursued his legal studies at the Birmingham School of
Law, where he was a member of the Honor Society (J.D., 1985).
Prior
to entering the practice of law, Mr. Walls worked as a claims representative
and investigator for a major insurance company.
His experience working for the insurance company has proved to be
invaluable to the clients he now represents in legal practice. He
has utilized the insight gained from his unique work experience
to effectively represent a number of plaintiffs in personal injury
litigation.
Mr.
Walls has served as president of the Magic City Bar Association
(1997-98). He is also actively involved in youth sports programs
in the Birmingham community.

Donald
R. Babineaux is an associate with the firm.
Mr.
Babineaux is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana. A graduate of Grambling
State University (B.S., Business, magna cum laude, 1995), he pursued
his legal studies at the University of Tennessee College of Law
(J.D., 2001) in Knoxville, Tennessee. While at the University of
Tennessee College of Law, Donald served on the moot court board
and represented clients as a student attorney with the university's
Legal Clinic. In addition, he was a semi-finalist in the campus-wide
Ray Jenkins Trial Competition in both 2000 and 2001.
Mr.
Babineaux is licensed to practice in all Alabama State courts, and
the Federal District Courts in both the Northern and Middle Districts
of Alabama. He practices primarily in the area of general civil
litigation. Since joining the firm in 2002, he has successfully
handled numerous cases ranging from complex personal injury to domestic
relations matters.

Dafina M. Cooper is an associate with the firm.
She
is a graduate of the Alabama School of Fine Arts and Clark Atlanta
University (B.A., Mass Media, suma cum laude, 1999). Following college,
Dafina worked as a media buyer in Boston, MA, where she negotiated
media contracts for large corporate clients, including Fortune 500
Companies. She went on to pursue legal studies in Philadelphia,
PA at Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law (J.D.,
2003).
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cooper worked for the Southern Poverty
Law Center, where she investigated racially motivated predatory
lending practices and assisted in prisoners' rights litigation.
She also worked with Homeless Advocacy Project of Philadelphia where
she assisted indigent clients in attaining disability benefits.
Ms. Cooper is currently an Associate Attorney with the firm, handling
assorted areas of practice, including Social Security, Bankruptcy,
Probate, Landlord/Tenant, and select areas of Intellectual Property.
